‎Amsterdam Wed. F. J. Van Teroode 1821 Nouvelle édition. Jolie reliure en plein cuir bordeaux avec titres et décorations dorés. Légèrement assombri et frotté sur les bords. L'ouvrage n'en demeure pas moins attrayant. Toutes les tranches sont dorées. Belle page de titre gravée avec vignette. Portrait de l'auteur. Quatre autres planches gravées à pleine page. Signé par l'éditeur au colophon. Chaque page est ornée d'une bordure imprimée attrayante et inhabituelle. L'intérieur est généralement propre, mais les coins des planches et les dernières pages blanches sont légèrement tachés. Offerman était un prêtre catholique néerlandais. Cet ouvrage a été publié par la veuve de l'éditeur Van Teroode, et constitue un bel exemple de veuve poursuivant l'activité éditoriale de son mari. 160 by 95mm. [xvi], 531 pages.‎

‎New edition. Attractive burgundy full leather binding with gilt titles and decoration to the binding. Somewhat darkened, and rubbed to the edges. Still attractive though. All edges gilt. Attractive engraved title page with vignette. Portrait of the author. Four further full page engraved plates. Signed by the publisher to the colophon. Each page has an attractive, and unusual, printed border. Internally mainly clean, but with a little staining to the corners of the plates, and to the final blank pages. Offerman was a Dutch Roman Catholic priest. This was published by the Widow of the publisher Van Teroode, and is a nice example of widow's continuing their husband's publishing business. 160 by 95mm (6Œ by 3Ÿ inches). [xvi], 531 pages. ,‎
