‎Scarce copy of this verse description of Venice in 12 books, by Emanoel de Azevedo. "Nicander Jasseus" was Azevedo’s Arcadian name (from the Accademia degli Arcadi). The liminary verses to that poem suggest it was composed around 1760, but that publication was delayed for some twenty years. Cette description de Venise rédigée, sous le pseudonyme de Jasseus Nicander, en hexamètres, par l'ancien jésuite Emanoel de Azevedo, est dédiée à Paolo Renier, avant-dernier doge de Venise, élu en 1779. Etat satisfaisant (mq. en coiffe sup., coupes frottées, qq. galeries de vers en haut de page affectant parfois légèrement le texte, rouss., bon état par ailleurs).‎
