‎0. Bruxelles, Musée du Livre, 1916 , in-4°, 28,5 x 21,5 cm, pp (633 - 730) + (13 of 24 ) plates. 4 separate issues, Leaves bound together with a silk tie, no wrapper ( as issued). In an original portfolio ( a bit worn and discoloured , spine damaged). The plates are loose ( as issued). The plates have a serpente with a printed caption and carry a number. For the year 1916 these numbers are 364 -> 387 ( missing are the plates 369->379, 382 ). The text leaves also complete , index leaf included . This years index covers also all previous years . This is the nearly complete year 1916, consisting of 4 text issues ( fascicules in French) and 13 of the 24 plates of the prestigeous Brussels' periodical devoted to the art of the book. It covers the whole subject : typography, lettering , binding, illustration...Its pre-war publications (before 1914) are rightly famous for the beautiful typographical execution. The project , animated by Henri Liebrecht, could rely on the aid of the main Brussels printing houses, paper and ink suppliers. ( e.g. Imprimerie Goossens, établ. Malvaux ...).
