Prima edizione di questo studio di demografia. Popolazione di tutti i comuni d'Italia al 1856, inclusi il Tirolo e la Svizzera italiana del Canton Ticino, l'Isola di Malta e la Corsica. Una seconda edizione venne stampata nel 1863. Alc. lievi fioriture intercalate nel t.; cerniera interna leggermente allentata, ma complessivamente buon esemplare.‎
