Reliure d'éditeur en pleine soie violette ornée d'un semi de points dorés. Titre en lettres dorées sur le plat supérieur et le dos. Etui recouvert de la même soie violette et orné d'une reproduction de miniature sur le plat. Ensemble en excellent état. ‎

‎Le manuscrit des Heures de Simon de Varie est l'un des chefs-d'oeuvre de la miniature du XVème siècle. Il est dû au talent d'artistes tels que Jean Fouquet, le maître de Jean Rolin II, et l'associé du maître de Bedford. ‎
