‎Paris, Duchesne, 1772 ; in-8, XV pp. + 278 pp., reliure demi-veau d’époque, dos lisse orné. Perse (Aulus Persius Flaccus) poète satirique latin, né en 34 à Volaterræ en Etrurie et mort en 62 après J.-C., était fils d’un chevalier romain. Il fut conduit à Rome, à l’âge de 12 ans, où il étudia avec le grammairien Rhemmius Palémon. Il devint un stoïcien ardent pratiquant. A Rome, il a fréquenta Cornutus, Sénèque et Lucain. État moyen.‎
