Johann Heinrich Lederlin, 1672 - 1737, taught Greek and Hebrew at Strasbourg university, published several very fine annotated editions. This edition of Barnabé's account of the history and customs of the Persians which was originally published in Paris (1590) is from his hand and is regarded as the best.."‎
