Ex-library copy with stamps and ex-libris on the first fly leaf. Title page clean with no markings. Uncut copy. Still a fine copy. The author ( 1763 - 1827) was a famous French anti-revolutionary who ended his career as a French ''ministre plénipotentiaire '' in Tuscany. This is the first edition ( see Quérard IV, 741)..
