‎In this paper Korn gives a technical decription of his invention of his telephotographic machine (later the fax-machine)In 1902, Arthur Korn (1870-1945) in Germany invented telephotography, a means for transmitting still photographs by means of electrical wires. In 1907, Korn sent the first inter-city fax when he transmitted a photograph from Munich to Berlin. By 1906 his equipment was being put into regular service for transmission of newspaper photographs between Munich and berlin via telegraph circuits. ‎First printing of one the papers in which Korn describes his invention in 1902 of the telephotographic machine (later the fax-machine).In 1902, Arthur Korn (1870-1945) in Germany invented telephotography, a means for transmitting still photographs by means of electrical wires. In 1907, Korn sent the first inter-city fax when he transmitted a photograph from Munich to Berlin.
