A very good copyA rare bound copy of seldom-seen publication by the German malacologist Wilhelm Kobelt (1840-1916). This forms a part of Kükenthal's Wissenschäftlige Reiseergebnisse of two travels and explorations to the Moluccas and Borneo (Kalimantan) (Indonesia). The fine plates are after original drawings by the author, who was an excellent artist.

The first edition was published in 1871. This edition contains the author's view on the Eurasian zoogeographical provinces. It lists names, sources (of the original descriptions), and species' distributions, as well as several taxonomical notes.
