New (probably third) large 8° edition in English, published without the name of the author, a translation of a work on picturesque Switzerland, orig. published in German by Waldemar Kaden (1877). Well known for its nice engraved views, this kind of books has been cut up by the hundreds to sell the views individually, a kind of democratization of books ‘each one a page’ (!). cf Perret 2415, other éditions.
