Professore all'Università di geologia di Lione, pubblicò numerose memorie e pubblicazioni di chimica e mineralogia. Alcune illustrazioni nel testo e alla fine due tavole fuori testo. He was teacher in the University of Lione and published different memories and pamphlets of geology and mineralogy. Some illustrations in the text and two out of text plates in the end of the volume.
