‎Ouvrage illustré d'un fac-similé de lettre en frontispice ainsi que d'une carte dépliante en fin de volume (cf Sabin, 80 002 et 25852.) Un seul exemplaire au CCF (BnF). Reliure en demi chagrin rouge, dos à cinq nerfs sertis de pointillés dorés et orné de triples caissons dorés, plats de papier marbré, gardes et contreplats de papier à la cuve, reliure de l'époque. Traces d'humidité en début de volume, avec maladroites réparations de papier en marges supérieures droites ders feuillets, quelques rousseurs. Déjà publié comme quatrième volume de la grande série de French, Historical collection of Louisiana, ce recueil de relations relatives à l'exploration de la vallée du Mississipi se compose de plusieurs textes indépendants ; les titres de départ portent : Relation of the voyages, discoveries and death of F.
