Passionné d'art, l'industriel sucrier Henry Frugès (1879-1974) tenait de sa grand-mère maternelle née Bentajou que sa famille descendait d’une certaine Zohra, fille de l’émir El Hadj Abd En Nor El Maimouny, général de Boadbil, le dernier roi de Grenade ; il restera profondément attiré par l'art musulman, comme le montre son amusant ex-libris avec sa devise "Je m'éclaire !".
