The account of the exploring and hunting expedition of Count Samuel Teleki in 1887 and 1888 in Eastern Equatorial Africa. Teleki, a Hungarian nobleman discovered lake Turkana and travelled to the foot hills of Kilimanjaro during the course of an arduous journey, which brought back much important geographical and scientific information. The appendixes at the end comprise: the game-book of Count Teleki and an abstract of the scientific results of the expedition (species lists of reptiles, amphibians, insects and flora).
