Previous owner's name to front free end-paper. Second work (Resa genom Wäster-Norrland) closely trimmed in upper margin with minor loss of text. (20), 271, (13) 144 pp. (wanting the map).‎

‎First edition of these two important works on Swedish exploration and natural history being some of the earliest descriptions solely dedicated to Lapland and northern Scandinavia.These books provided valuable insights into the geography, flora, fauna, and the indigenous Sami culture of the Lapland region at a time when little was known about this area outside Nothern Scandinavia.‎
