Knecht: May I refer to you for some information the enclosed letter from Mr. Rose, which explains itself. Mr. Rose is an able and forceful man. Mr. Brown-Landone would like to engage him actively in this work. The inquiry which I beg to make of you on behalf of Mr. Rose is chiefly that contained in the last paragraph of his letter. Your assistance will be highly appreciated. I am hoping to see you again soon as there are many things I would like to discuss with you, but I am kept very busy these days.
