‎Cui praemissa est de medicinae mechanicae praestantia dissertatio. apud Simonem Occhi, Venetiis, 1753. In-16 p. (mm. 168x110), p. pergamena coeva, pp. LXIV,455. L'Heister (1683- 1758), insigne medico e anatomista, considerato il padre della chirurgia tedesca moderna. Studi medicina prima in Germania e poi in Olanda, avendo come maestri Boerhaave, Ruysch e Albinus; avuta una cattedra ad Altdorf, torno' in Germania, ove fond un'importante scuola chirurgica. Pubblic una serie vastissima di opere, sia di carattere generale (trattati di anatomia e chirurgia) sia su casi chirurgici specifici. Il presente lavoro, molto interessante, una dissertazione sulla cosiddetta medicina meccanica.Con lievi uniformi arross. e qualche fiorit. ma discreto esemplare.‎
