De tekst is in typoscript, op de recto-zijde van het blad ( verso is blanco). Ex-bibliotheek, met een manuscript ex-dono van beide auteurs ( vader en zoon) gedateerd 26 september 1943. Interessante historische studie over de Antwerpse Noorderpolders. De zoon Roger bekleedde een functie bij het Antwerpse Havenbedrijf. Gezien de technische uitvoering van deze publicatie bedraagt de oplage vermoedelijk slechts enkele exemplaren.

Bel exemplaire bien complet de tous les planches. Ce recueil de textes sur l'histoire du livre dans tous ses aspects contient pour cette année un texte de Havermans ''L'Esthétique Moderne en Imprimerie ''. Un texte de George Rency sur la littérature francophone belge, avec des portraits. Parmi les planches hors-texte il y a une lithographie en couleurs d' Armand Rassenfosse. ''Le Musée du Livre à Bruxelles avait pour objet l'étude des questions relatives au livre ainsi qu'aux arts et industries qui s'y rapportent....'' Il publie une revue périodique illustré. Ceci est la dernière année avant la Première Guerre Mondiale. La typographie et l'exécution des illustrations atteignent ici un niveau rarement surpassé dans l'art de l'imprimerie.

Het verhaal van deze aparte wijk, gelegen op de grens van Ekeren en Brasschaat. De zesde erfgoedgids vertelt het ontstaan en de groei van de Antwerpse wijk Sint-Mariaburg. Sint-Mariaburg bekleedt een merkwaardige plaats in onze provincie. Hoewel het nooit het statuut van een onafhankelijke gemeente kreeg - een deel van Sint-Mariaburg ligt op het grondgebied van het district Ekeren, een ander deel op het grondgebied Brasschaat - vormt de wijk een bijna autonome woon- en leefgemeenschap. Ze heeft een eigen kerk, een begraafplaats en een ???machtscentrum???. Het machtscentrum was echter niet het traditionele gemeentehuis, maar het voormalige kantoorgebouw van de verzekeringsmaatschappij Antverpia. Van daaruit gaf de stichter Antoon Van den Weyngaert als een verlicht heerser zijn Sint-Mariaburg vorm. Het boek gaat dieper in op de snelle en lucratieve groei van de verzekeringsmaatschappij. Die bouwde kerken, villa?? s, huizen en legde wegen aan. Een zwembad, een velodroom, cafe?? s, melkerijen en ontspanningslokalen moesten de mensen naar dit Antwerpse paradijs in het groen lokken. De Auteur schetst op een boeiende wijze het leven zoals het was in Sint-Mariaburg: de talloze verenigingen, het vervoer per stoomtrein of postkoets, het indrukwekkende zwembad en de velodroom. Het was een autonome leefgemeenschap die gesmeed werd rond de vlag van Sint-Mariaburg, met een eigen lied, een mars en de ???Gazet van Sint-Mariaburg???.Ook de verschillende villa?? s van architecten zoals Floris Verbraeken, John Voet, Louis De Decker, Dom Constantinus en Renaat Braem komen aan bod, met zowel aandacht voor de architectuur als de inrichting.
