Contents: Geographical notes, Climate, Population, Government, Municipal administration and public services, A short history of Rio de Janeiro, The port quays, Bagage Warehouses, The receiving at and taking luggage to homes and hotels, Foreigners in Rio de Janeiro, Passport formalities, Currencies, Hotels, Flats, First contact, Restaurant and many others small sections. Of notes are a list of busts spread throughout the city, of public edifices, of islands (ilhas) near Rio de Janeiro and so on. A true snapshot of tourism in the gem of Brazil right amidst the lively Roaring Twenties and before the darker Estado Novo period.‎
