Venezia, per Comin da Trino di Monferrato, 1555 , in-4°, (8) nn pp + (86) pp ( 43 lvs numbered 1-43) + (4)nn pp***, bound in old vellum. *** The last leaf of this imprint (most probably blank) has been replaced with 2 leaves pertaining to the Statutes made in Paris in 1579 under Francisco Gonzaga. The book is in its original binding. From the manuscript title on the spine we gather that the binding contained a collection of statutes ( 1555 , 1579 and 1616). Only the statutes of 1555 have been retained. The endpapers have also been renewed. Still a fine and interesting rare copy of the statutes of the Franciscans order, published in Venice in 1555. USTC 830510 ( lists only 9 copies, not one outside Italy).
