Unique édition. Joseph-Jean-Baptiste-Xavier Fournet (1801-1869) était un géologue lyonnais, admis à l'école des Mines de Paris en 1822. Rarissima pubblicazione senza data ma del 1847 sulla storia della dolomia scritta dal geologo e metallurgico francese Joseph Jean Baptiste Xavier Fournet (1801-1869). Professore all'Università di geologia di Lione, pubblicò numerose memorie e pubblicazioni di chimica e mineralogia. Alcune illustrazioni nel testo e alla fine due tavole fuori testo. Ex libris al contropiatto anteriore. In ottime condizioni. Copertina in mezza pelle con titolo e decorazioni in oro al dorso in ottime condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Very scarce pamphlet not dated but of 1847 circa about the history of dolomia written by the french geologist and metallurgist Joseph Jean Baptiste Xavier Fournet (1801-1869). He was teacher in the University of Lione and published different memories and pamphlets of geology and mineralogy. Some illustrations in the text and two out of text plates in the end of the volume. Ex libris in the front counterplate. In very good conditions. Half leather coeval cover with gilted title and decorations in the spine in very good general conditions lightly worn in the extremities.
