Die Ausstellung umfasst rund hundert Werke. Neben der Präsentation der berühmten Köpfe aus privaten Sammlungen und Museen aus aller Welt würdigt eine bedeutende Sammlung von Gemälden (darunter zahlreiche unveröffentlichte Porträts), Wandteppichen und grafischen Werken das außergewöhnliche bildnerische Universum des Künstlers, das sich durch einen unvergleichlichen allegorischen und formalen Reichtum auszeichnet.
