‎First edition. Hardback illustrated boards with green cloth spine. Lovely children's poetry book, with wonderful colour illustrations by M. Ellen Edwards, and John C. Staples. Undated but WORLDCAT suggests circa 1890. 24 unnumbered pages. Boards are a bit rubbed and slightly soiled / handled. Inside, endpapers are age toned, other pages are still bright and clean. Staples rusted, but overall good. 155 x 125 mm (6 x 5 inches).‎
