‎1906-1940 10 volumes (complete). 3936 p., 3 plates, uniform grey half cloth with author/title in black on spine. Includes the general Index. Due to paper quality (brittle) there are loose pages and a few repaired tears. Library stamp on first paste-down and paper label on spine (can be removed) of ‘’Stichting Flora Malesiana’’. A very rare set of the original edition which took 35 years to complete.Adolph Daniel Edward Elmer (1870 – 1942) was an American botanist and plant collector. He made extensive plant collections in the Philippines, but also in California, Borneo, and New Guinea. He was editor of Leaflets of Philippine Botany, where he published more than 1,500 new species.‎
