This is copy 112 (pencil numbering). Kept in the original thick paper cover with printed title on front. Kept in a sliding box made by Alvarez. The large woodcut title has been reproduced on the cover in an embossed design which shows throudh a window in the sliding box. Everything in perfect condition. This series of woodcuts is considered the masterpiece of the belgian expressionist artist Eekman, born in Brussels but working for long years in Paris. Copies of this suite are kept in the Metropolitan Museum at New york and the Minneapolis Institute of Art.. Ex-libris Lecluyse-Vanderbeken.
