The Christian poet Dracontius wrote this work of the six days of creation in the first half of the 5th century, addressed to the Younger Theodosius. The present edition is the expanded version of ""The Six Days"" that Eugenius (7th century), by the order of king Chindasuindus undertook to revise, correct and improve. - Brunet II:833.
