‎Summary During his second stay in Paris (1297-1299), Ramon Llull developed an extraordinary literary activity writing 16 works, some of them of considerable length. His attention was once again focused on the presentation of the Art, either to summarize it in accordance with the new changes he had introduced (beginning with the Tabula generalis, op. 53, ROL XXVII), or to present it as a method of renewal of the particular sciences (astronomy and geometry) or as an instrument in the debate on the errors condemned by the bishop of Paris in 1277. The four works presented in this volume are examples of this activity. The Disputatio Eremitae et Raimundi (op. 76) not only represents Llull's closest approximation to the university style of studying the science of theology, based on the Sentences of Peter Lombard, but also the most radical application of his Art as opposed to any discussion fed by the exegesis of "auctoritates". In Arbor philosophiae amoris (op. 77), on the other hand, the application of the Art follows the intent of his previous Ars amativa boni (op. 46, ROL XXIX), thus revealing the intimate connection between the austerity of the artistic language and the exuberance of the contemplative language, the true hallmark of Lullian mysticism. The Consolatio Venetorum (op. 78) illustrates the innovative approach that the Lullian project offers for the moral and political life of the Church. There is no medieval Latin manuscript tradition of the Cantus Raimundi (op. 79). ‎Der vorliegende Band XIX und der ubernachste Band XXI dieser Edition enthalten die Werke, die Llull zwischen seinem Aufenthalt in Paris und seiner Reise nach Zypern geschrieben hat. Ein Teil der literarischen Produktion dieser Zeit ist in katalanischen Versen geschrieben und weist sehr sparliche lateinische Tradition auf. In diesem Band erscheinen zunachst die Principia philosophiae(op. 86), ein Werk, das Llull in Paris angefangen hatte und erst in Mallorca fortsetzte, das er aber vorzeitig beendete, ohne seinen noch umfangreicheren ursprunglichen Plan verwirklicht zu haben. Nach diesem grossen aber unvollstandigen Werk werden die lateinischen Zeugnisse der Dictat de Ramon (Dictatum Raimundi) und des Coment del dictat(Dictati commentum)(op. 87-88) editiert. Es handelt sich um ein Gedicht von 276 Versen und einen Kommentar dazu in Prosa, geschrieben in Barcelona. Von dem am selben Ort und zur selben Zeit verfassten Libre de oracions (Liber de orationibus)(op.89) -ein fur die aragonesische Konigsfamilie geschriebenes Gebetbuch -geben wir nur eine kurze Notiz, da keine lateinische Fassung desselben vorhanden ist. Der Band enthalt noch zwei lateinische Fragmente -Dictatum de trinitate und Liber de oratione- des umfangreichen in katalanischen Versen verfassten Werkes Medicina de pecat (Medicina peccati)(op.90) und schliesslich noch den Tractatus compendiosus de articulis fidei catholicae(op.91), eine von Llull veranlasste lateinische Neufassung des Dictati commentum. Die zwei lezten Werke wurden im Juli 1300 in Palma de Mallorca abgeschlossen. Alle in diesem Band veroffentlichten Werke sind in ihrer lateinischen Fassung uneditiert und teilweise vollig unbekant. Im bereits im Druck befindlichen Band XXI werden die insgesamt bekannteren, ab dem Sommer 1300 bis zum Fruhjahr 1301 verfassten Werke herausgegeben (ROL 92-96). Languages: Latin.‎
