‎Paris Dentu 1887 Paris, Dentu, 1887, in-8, percaline rouge et or éditeur polychrome, plaque sur le premier plat et le dos signée Paul Souze, tête dorée, (Engel relieur), 282 pages. ‎

‎Paru en feuilleton dans "Le Figaro" en 1870, il fut ensuite édité chez Dentu en 1872. Première édition illustrée. Nombreuses illustrations en noir de Jeanniot, dans le texte et douze hors-texte, lettrines et culs-de-lampe.Très légers frottements à la reliure, rousseurs internes, petite déchirure en bas de page (p.32). Vicaire (III-39, 40), Carteret (V-61) et Clouzot (81). ‎
