‎Magnifique manuscrit coranique sur papier fort composé de 197 feuillets de texte recto verso à lencre noire et rouge dans un encadrement rouge de deux filets. Chaque page contient 16 à 18 lignes à lexception de trois doubles pages enluminées : la première, la dernière, ainsi quune au niveau de la Sourate XVIII al-Kahf (La Caverne). Ces dernières contiennent le texte sur 6 lignes dans un panneau rectangulaire entouré de cartouches de rinceaux floraux sur fond noir dessinés au feutre de couleurs rouge, verte, jaune et noire et rehaussé en doré. La fin des vers est marquée par des ronds rouges, ceux des premières et dernières pages sont remplis en doré. Impressionnant manuscrit de près de 400 pages dans sa belle reliure à rabat avec encadrement doré. Provenance: Daghestan. 1 Arabic manuscript volume (430 x 340 mm) of : [197] ff. of handwritten text. Magnificent Qur'anic manuscript on strong paper composed of 197 leaves of text on both sides in black and red ink within a red frame of two fillets. Each page contains 16 to 18 lines except for three illuminated double pages: the first, the last, and one in Sura XVIII al-Kahf (The Cave). The latter contains the text in six lines in a rectangular panel surrounded by cartouches of floral scrolls on a black background drawn in red, green, yellow and black felt-tip pens and highlighted in gold. The end of the verses is marked by red circles, those of the first and last pages are filled in gold. Impressive manuscript of nearly 400 pages in its beautiful flap binding with gold frame.
