" Lovanii ( Leuven ) , apud Ioannem Masium, 1599, in-8°, 15 x 9,3 cm, 26 pp , title with woodcut vignette (complete), bound in modern vellum, some old waterstains, outer margin of five leaves with careful paper restoration ( no loss of text). Hendrik van Cuyck's exhortation of Count Maurice of Nassau, son of William the Silent ( Willem van Oranje) to return to the Roman Catholic Church or at least showing greater tolerance for the remaining catholics under his reign. USTC 407989. The copy ot the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek which can be digitally accessed is a completely different edition (type). Our titlepage is pictorial ( a cross within a renaissance architectural border) ; all pages have a different type ( different initials and all).In 1599 Masius printed at least two different editions.."

Bound in modern vellum. The title page mentions 1600, the approbatio is from december 14th 1604. (see Theux de Montjardin col. 36-38 and 46).
