Bound in the original cream coloured cloth over pictorial paper covered boards, with salmon coloured patterned endleaves. Fine copy with stainless interior and only minimal wear at the edges of the cover boards and some slight dustsoiling of the cover.

Bound in a decorative Art Nouveau publishers binding. Quarter brown leather with matching corners. Gilt decorative strip on front and back cover presenting 5 lobsters surrounded by oysters. The triangular corners also with lobster decorarion. Top edge gilt. The binding was designed by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof who also designed the endpapers : flying birds in a Batik design-like setting..First edition, binding very good , with hardly any traces of use, gilt decoration still very fresh. Spotless interior.
