‎LAlmanach du Père Gérard résulte dun concours organisé en septembre 1791 par la Société des Amis de la Constitution de Paris pour la rédaction dun ouvrage de vulgarisation vantant les principes de la constitution française. Lauteur mourut en déportation après la chute de Robespierre, quatre ans plus tard. Ravissant exemplaire de ce livre en tout petit format, sur papier bleuté à grandes marges, dans une élégante reliure en maroquin. / (Miniature revolutionary almanach). LAlmanach du Père Gérard is the result of a competition that was organized in september 1791 by the Society of the Friends of the Constitution of Paris to produce a work of vulgarisation to boast the merits of the principles of the French Constitution. The author died in deportation four years later, after the downfall of Robespierre.
