‎Göttingen, J.C. Dietrich, 1790. 8vo. Cont. marbled boards, worn, especially corners. Scratches to binding. Endpapers with old annotations. XIX,324,(15) pp. and 40 folded engraved anatomical plates. A nick to upper part of titlepage, but no loss of letters. Light scattered browning, but internally good.‎

‎First German edition of Cheselden's famous anatomy ""The anatomy of the humane Body. London, 1713"" a work which ran through more than 10 editions. - Garrison & Morton No. 390 (English edition). - Wellcome does not have the German edition.‎
