‎ London, printed by Whittingham and Wilkins at the Chiswick Press, 1869, format in-4° (32 x 25 cm), xii pp + 16 original albumine photographs each with a explanatory text leaf. Original printed wrapper. Not a nice copy: partly disbound, wrapper loose and slightly soiled. The photographs are mounted on stiff boards. Many of these boards are seroiusly foxed. (photographs untouched). Nevertheless an interesting early example of the use of photography to illustrate archeology..‎
