‎Bon état (infimes frott. au dos, qq. rares rouss.). Le recueil de nouvelles en contient trois : Lisbeth ; Einsiedel ; La Vallée de Goldau. Augustin Caminade Chatenay, de son vrai nom Augustin Caminade de Chatenet (1784-1861), était issue d'une famille noble de Cognac. De tendance politique orléaniste, il fut brièvement député de la Charente (1831-1834). Il fit fortune avec une maison de vin de Cognac, qu'il avait fondé en 1818.‎
