‎ Exemplaire de tête avec tirage photographique signé Santa Rosa, Black Sparrow Press, May 1995. 1 vol. (275 x 225 mm) non pagnié. Cartonnage illustré de l'éditeur. Édition revue et augmentée après celle parue à San Francisco chez City Lights en 1979. Un des 326 premiers exemplaires, avec un tirage photographique original signé, justifiés et signés par le photographe. ‎

‎Shakespeare n'a jamais fait ça est un récit des voyages de Bukowski à Hambourg, Mannheim, Heidelberg et Paris. Il ne sera traduit qu'en 2012 : un road book bizarrement resté trop longtemps inédit, où Bukowski donne sa version du fameux «épisode d'Apostrophes» avec Bernard Pivot. Michael Montfort, journaliste et photographe allemand, rencontra Bukowski en 1977 alors qu'il effectuait un reportage pour un magazine allemand. Il le sollicitera plusieurs fois pour des reportages photo et l'accompagnera à chacun de ses déplacements en Europe. Très bel exemplaire. Kruhansl, 143b. ‎
