Rare first Danish translation of Buddeus's ""Institutiones theologiae moralis"" (1711) which in many aspects inaurated a new age of moral sensitivity among Lutherans of which Pietism became the most important theological tradition. Johann Franz Buddeus (1667-1729) born in Pomerania, was professor of Greek and Latin, moral philosophy and theology at Leipzig and Halle.
