‎London, 10 April, 1776. Folio (295 x 395 mm). Single printed vellum leaf with manuscript additions. Signed ""Ja. Heseltine, Grand Secretary"", with seal of masonry and engraved figures by J. Cartwright. Light miscolouring and with a small stain to upper margin. 1 ff. Provenance: Sir Thomas Phillipps, 1st BaronetSold by H. P. Kraus in 1987. ‎

‎Rare early masonic document certifying Brother Samuel Marshall's admission to the third degree of Masonry. ""Ja. Heseltine"" is in all likelyhood James Heseltine who was Grand Secretary in London from 1769 to 1793. ‎
