Sinimberghi, 1864, in-folio, 47 x 33 cm, title + chromolithographic plate + 54 pp + (2)nn pp , all page printed within a lithographic border, bound in red full cloth with gilt decoration on front and back cover. Clothbinding soiled and unevenly discoloured, interior with some clear marginal waterstains. Study illustrated with a nice chromolithographic plate of the neo gothic reliquary designed by L. Poletti to house the relics of Saint Laurent . The patron to finance this artwork was Count Georges Nédonchel-Choiseul. The publication is also a very early example of the use of chromolithography by the papal printing press.
