<p>Life, Death and Everything in Between présente des photographies clés de Don McCullin. Les 140 images du livre, dont certaines étaient rarement publiées ou n’avaient jamais été vues auparavant, ont été éditées par McCullin dans le cadre du processus de révision de ses archives et de réévaluation de photographies réalisées de la fin des années 1950 à l’an dernier. Le livre ne se veut ni une rétrospective ni une publication définitive, mais une sélection d’images appréciées par McCullin avec les avantages du recul et de la sagesse, résumant sa carrière prolifique, variée et en cours.</p><p>Le livre s’ouvre sur les photographies documentaires de McCullin réalisées à Londres dans les années 1950, suivies de reportages réalisés dans des conflits en Europe, en Afrique, au Moyen-Orient et en Asie du Sud-Est. The 140 images in the book—some rarely published or previously unseen—were edited by McCullin through the process of revisiting his archives and reassessing photographs made from the late 1950s until last year. The book aims to be neither a retrospective nor definitive publication, but to present a selection of images valued by McCullin with the benefits of both hindsight and wisdom, encapsulating his prolific, varied and ongoing career.</p><p>The book opens with McCullin’s documentary photographs made in London in the 1950s, followed by reportage made in conflicts across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South-East Asia.
