London, the Artist Publishing company, 1931 - 1940, large in-4°, issues of approx. 32-40 pp, with several colour ills. per issues and many black/white ills. Original decorated wrappers preserved. All issues have been prepared to be bound. They are gathered per volume in a protective portfolio (boards with ties). The staples have been removed ( no rust). AVAILABLE: Volume I (1931) - Volume XIX (1940) in all 97 issues. There are 17 issues missing. The missing issues are Vol. II (issue 1). Vol. III (issue 3). Vol. V (issues 1,2). Vol. VII (issue 3). Vol. VIII (all issues). Vol. 12 (issues 1,2). Vol. XVII (issue 1). Vol. XIX (issues 4,5,6). So of the 19 volumes 11 are complete. English pre-war high quality periodical on the fine arts. Price for the lot, not subject to return.
