Etat satisfaisant (anciens cachets d'institution religieuse, étiquette de cote en couv.) pour ce petit ouvrage sur le Père François Bertrand (1871-1936, également retranscrit en " Francis Bertram "), jésuite français natif de Montigny-les-Metz, qui fut envoyé en Inde très rapidement après son admission par la Province de Toulouse, en 1888. Il reste connu pour avoir co-fondé en 1925 le "Loyola College" à Madras (désomais Chennai). Cette université jésuite figure encore de nos jour parmi les établissements d'enseignement supérieur les plus réputés de l'Inde.
