This is also known as the Anderson localization. On the basis of the discovery presented in the present article which led to investigations into the electronic structure of magnetic and disordered systems, Anderson was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1977. The discovery has allowed for the development of electronic switching and memory devices in computers.""Disorder-induced electron localization, i.e. Anderson localization, was first predicted by Andersonin 1958 [in the present paper]. Précieux exemplaire de la cantatrice Mary Garden, créatrice du rôle de Mélisande dans l’opéra de Debussy, contre le désir de Maeterlinck qui souhaitait imposer Georgette Leblanc. Les relations entre Garden et Anderson étaient anciennes, un article sur la cantatrice ayant paru en 1917 dans The Little Review la revue littéraire fondée par Margaret Anderson. L’envoi de cette dernière, très chaleureux, montre que Mary Garden fut une lectrice attentive de la revue.En rentrant des Etats-Unis où elle s’était exilée après sa rupture avec Maeterlinck, Georgette Leblanc reprit le chemin de la rue Jacob en compagnie de Margaret Anderson. Leblanc et Barney se connaissaient depuis le début du siècle: en février 1906 quand Colette fit ses débuts publics sur la scène des Mathurins dans une pantomime de Francis de Croisset (Eva Palmer y tint un petit rôle), Georgette Leblanc assura le gros du programme avec la représentation de La Mort de Tintagiles de Maeterlinck.‎
