‎Panorama historique et géographique consacrée au continent Asiatique dessiné et calligraphiée par Louise Allote en 1863. Travail exécuté sur papier fort à la plume, à l'encre brune et finement aquarellé composé au centre dune carte du continent asiatique dans sa configuration politique du milieu du 19éme siècle, figurant les pays et leurs populations, locéan Indien, pacifique, Arctique, la du Nord, Baltique, méditerranée, Rouge, dOman, de Chine, de Béring et les iles dIndonésie. Louise Alotte accompagne sa carte dune introduction de l'Asie en général et de sa description physique. Elle a placé à gauche un tableau titré « Histoire de lAsie depuis son commencement jusquà nos jours » et un second à droite consacré aux « divers établissements des Européens aux Indes » (Portugais, Hollandais, Français, Anglais). Avec sa signature en bas à droite « Louise Allote 1863 ». [ Il peut s'agir de Louise Joséphine Allotte de La Fuÿe, née à Saint-Pol-de-Léon en 1795 et décédée à nantes en 1880]. Beau document aux couleurs trés fraiches. 1 sheet (725 x 1095 mm) calligraphy in brown ink with watercolor map of Asia in the center, text above and below and tables on each side. (stains, soiling, tears and small lacks reinforced on the edges, very fresh coloring). Historical and geographical panorama dedicated to the Asian continent drawn and calligraphed by Louise Allote in 1863. Work executed on strong paper with pen, brown ink and finely watercolored composed in the center of a map of the Asian continent in its political configuration of the mid-19th century, showing the countries and their populations, the Indian Ocean, Pacific, Arctic, North, Baltic, Mediterranean, Red, Oman, China, Bering and the islands of Indonesia. Louise Alotte accompanies her map with an introduction to Asia in general and its physical description. She placed on the left a table entitled "History of Asia from its beginning to the present day" and a second one on the right devoted to the "various establishments of Europeans in the Indies" (Portuguese, Dutch, French, English). With his signature at the bottom right "Louise Allote 1863". [ It may be Louise Josephine Allotte de La Fuÿe, born in Saint-Pol-de-Léon in 1795 and died in Nantes in 1880]. Beautiful document with very fresh colors.‎
