Hugely in demand in his lifetime, and widely influential from the many prints issued of his works that exemplify the Rococo and Chinoiserie fantasies so popular during the period. Collected from London to Lisbon and from Paris to St. Petersburg, many of his designs were reproduced on tapestries, silks and fabrics and domestic objects such as ceramics, silver and enamel were decorated using his works.

Les dessins de François Boucher
Éditions Scala, 2003, relié de percaline noire, titre argenté sur dos, édition avec jaquette, 264 pages. Avant-propos de Pierre Rosenberg.
État d'usage. La jaquette a souffert (petite déchirure sans manque scotchée au dos) et on constate une légère usure des plats, ainsi qu'une insolation du dos (voir photos). L'intérieur est en revanche en parfait état. Très bel ouvrage.
