The illustrations depict ancient Greek vase decorations with mock 20th c. additions. The German text consists of poetry in the classical Greek style, adapted for the wedding. Extremely rare , unrecorded , private publication on the occasion of the wedding of Thekla and Walter ( surname ?) Most probably the people involved ( the married couple ; the compilers) were were somehow related to the publishing company '' Bibliographisches Institut''. There is no entry for this publication in OPAC. We assume the printing place to be Leipzig because a very rare - only one entry in OPAC- similar publication by Anneliese and Kurt Jacoby is recorded in the Katalog der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek (see http://d-nb.info/580845990)."

The booklet contains poetry on marriage, women... by Goethe, Claudius, Mörike... Texts in German. (Only one entry in OPAC).."
