Grande et belle planche lithographiée en couleurs consacrée au thé, avec titre et légendes en espagnol. Fondée en 1831 par Jean-Baptiste Deyrolle, la maison Deyrolle est une institution dans le domaine des sciences naturelles et de la pédagogie. Elle s'installa définitivement le 1er avril 1888 au 46, rue du Bac, sous la direction d'Émile Deyrolle, petit-fils du fondateur, rapidement relayé par son fils Achille Deyrolle. C’est vers 1871 qu’Émile Deyrolle commença à développer l'édition de planches murales colorées destinées à l’enseignement, publiées sous le nom de "Musée scolaire Deyrolle", dans des domaines aussi variés que la botanique, la zoologie, l’entomologie, la géographie, l’anatomie humaine, l’instruction civique, la physique, la chimie, la géologie, la minéralogie, la biologie, etc. Dès les années 1870, plusieurs centaines de sujets sont déjà traités et l'État devient le principal client de la Maison. Deyrolle devient alors le premiere fournisseur de l'Instruction publique et équipe les écoles de ses planches pédagogiques. Ces planches traverseront même les frontières et seront notamment traduites en espagnol, portugais et arabe. Bon exemplaire. Petites déchirures en bordure des marges, petite manque dans la partie gauche près de la marge.
