His detailed observations were a very valuable contribution in the exploration of wide territories between Ladó in the north and Lake Victoria in the south, Monbuttu in the west and Lattuka in the east. In addition to the geographic results, the expedition provided a wealth of information on the customs and habits of the native tribes in those territories.
