(foto e disegni) e 15 tavv. in b.n. f.t. relative a capolavori della manifattura di porcellane di Meissen, basati su modelli di Johann Joachim Kaendler, scultore tedesco (1706-75). Sono grandi bellissimi uccelli e animali progettati per il palazzo giapponese dell'Elettore a Dresda, busti, figure o gruppi di figure nello stile Rococo e studi preparatori per il monumento ad Augusto III. Interessante monografia sull'opera di questo importante artista che seppe dare una caratteristica impronta alla porcellana di Meissen. Ben conservato..
